Safety Rules

• Do not disable, tamper with, or obstruct smoke detectors or fire alarms
• Do not use open flames, candles, or unauthorized heating devices indoors
• Keep exits, hallways, and stairwells clear at all times
• Know the location of fire extinguishers and emergency exits
• Report fire hazards, gas leaks, or electrical issues to staff immediately
• Participate in fire drills and safety orientations when scheduled

• Do not overload outlets or use damaged cords or extension cords as permanent wiring
• Only use appliances approved for indoor residential use
• Report malfunctioning appliances, outlets, or HVAC issues promptly
• Do not perform unauthorized electrical or plumbing repairs

• Lock doors and windows when leaving your unit or common areas
• Do not prop open exterior or secure entry doors
• Report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, or security concerns to staff
• Do not share keys, access codes, or entry credentials with unauthorized persons

Firearms, illegal weapons, explosives, and hazardous chemicals are prohibited on property unless expressly permitted by law and individual lease terms. Residents must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding weapons.

In an emergency, call 911 first. Then notify RiseTN staff as soon as it is safe to do so. Emergency contact information is provided at move-in and posted in common areas where applicable.
