Data Processing Agreement

This DPA applies when RiseTN processes personal data on behalf of another organization in connection with housing programs, community services, donations, or partnership activities. It does not replace individual partnership agreements where more specific terms apply.

RiseTN commits to:

• Process personal data only as instructed by the data controller
• Implement appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures
• Ensure confidentiality of personnel with access to personal data
• Assist with data subject rights requests where applicable
• Maintain records of processing activities as required by law
• Notify the data controller of data breaches without undue delay

We may engage sub-processors to assist with data processing, such as payment processors, form providers, property management tools, and cloud hosting services. We require sub-processors to maintain appropriate data protection standards. Partners may request information about our sub-processors.

We assist data controllers in fulfilling data subject rights requests, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, as applicable under governing law.

Any international data transfers are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and include appropriate safeguards where required.
