Conduct Policy

• Treat staff, volunteers, and fellow residents with respect and dignity
• Communicate concerns through appropriate channels rather than confrontation
• Participate in required meetings, orientations, and program activities as applicable
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness in shared and private spaces
• Follow all posted rules, lease terms, and staff directions

• Physical violence, threats, or intimidation
• Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior
• Destruction or theft of property belonging to RiseTN, staff, or other residents
• Excessive noise or disruptive behavior
• Retaliation against residents who report concerns in good faith
• Unauthorized pets or animals (unless approved in writing)
• Smoking in non-designated areas, where applicable

Residents experiencing conflict with other residents should notify housing staff.RiseTN will attempt to mediate disputes fairly. Physical altercations may result in immediate lease enforcement action and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

Conduct violations may result in verbal or written warnings, probationary status, required counseling or program participation, loss of privileges, or termination of residency. Serious violations may result in immediate removal consistent with applicable law and lease terms.
